What kind of memory card should I get for my Digital Camera-Panasonic DMC-TZ5A?
hey people. well i am getting the Panasonic DMC-TZ5A soon. I have researched alot and this is the one i really want to get. question is, i dont know what kind of memory card to get. i want to record alot of HD movies on it too. so i know i need alot of memory. and i want it to be fast. panasonic has a 32 gb one, class 4 i believe, but it goes for like 600 bucks! im not paying that kind of money for a memory card. but i do like the memory though. especially if i want it to be fast and have space for recording in HD. so my question is, what is the maximum amount of gigs i can use on this camera and which brand should i get? with lots of memory and fast speed. please let me know. if you are a photographer, please say so. thanks =)
Since shooting film is done in a lot of short takes, buying ten or twenty 2GB SDHC cards at about $14 each will be more practical. Putting all of your shoot onto one card is just looking for disaster. Typically all the video from each scene is transfered to a computer and back up CD or DVD while another card is being used to shoot the next blocked scene.
