It's plug and play. The computer recognized it at once. Each of the card readers is recognized as a different drive. Everything that I have thrown at it has read just fine. But I cannot get it to read a 64 MB Sandisk smartmedia card. It reads Compact Flash and Secure Digital. Can't find any online support, and the manual has nothing of any help. There are better products that will still allow multiple cards at once without requiring a special driver; look for those.
