Windows XP set up was very easy. It's plug and play. The computer recognized it at once. Each of the card readers is recognized as a different drive. Everything that I have thrown at it has read just fine. It's also small and very portable. When I travel I tuck it into one of the pockets of my laptop case.

The only con is that it feels a bit insubstantial.

Seems to be pretty much plug-and-play. But I cannot get it to read a 64 MB Sandisk smartmedia card. It reads Compact Flash and Secure Digital. Can't find any online support, and the manual has nothing of any help.

Fair warning for those considering this for a MacOS machine: this unit DOES require installation of a special driver that may cause problems with other USB Mass Storage devices. There are better products that will still allow multiple cards at once without requiring a special driver; look for those.
