I am having trouble with using Windows media Player to e-mail attachments?
I recently purchased a Sony Handycam HDD, DCR-SR40. I was able to install the software, Image Mixer, that came with the camera. It saves all clips as Windows Media Player clips but my problem is when I download video clips off of my camera and on to my computer they are saved as movie clips (mpeg) and are very large files. How do I convert them to a different file so I can send clips to family as an e-mail attachment? For example a clip that is 1 minute and 45 seconds is taking up 113mb and is too large to send to people. I receive video clips from friends all of the time and these clips open in Windows Media Player as well, however they are no where near as large.
You don't have to convert them, just get Pando from
CNET.com downloads. It's like skype for files, only hangup it takes a bit to load, but you can do it in the background. Plus it's free.
And the other party has to have Pando to it's a small exe.
