how many pictures can you store on a 128 mb smart media memory card?
I realize it changes with resolution, but using average resolution what is the average amount that can be stored?

Depending on your camera,
At 1 mp, you can get approx 160 to 250 pictures with only an average (not best) picture at 4 x 6.
At 2 mp, you can get 128 to 220 at 5 x 7.
At 3 mp, you can get 80 to 150 at 8 x 10.
At 4 mp, you can get 42 to 128 at 11 x 14.
At 5 mp, you can get 38 to 92 at 16 x 20.
Resolutions of 1600 x 1200 makes a great 4 x 6. A 5 x 7 will be average, but bigger will be of diminished quality. Slightly smaller than 1600 x 1200 will make some average 4 x 6 pix, but anything too small is just good for web viewing.
