I want a Kodak M575 14MP camera for my birthday and I looked up a Kodak Memory Card and it is so expensive and the Transcend Memory Card is so much cheaper. So would it fit or not?

Yes, any SD or SDHC card will fit. Transcend seems to be an ok manufacturer, although I would prefer SanDisk or Kingston. No, it is not necessary to use a Kodak memory card. For more comparisons than you can possibly absorb, try this site.
